Over 20 years ago I graduated with a degree in textiles and surface design. Throughout my career as a freelance designer and in house artist, I have developed my own signature technique. I now use this unique technique to produce striking embellished works of art that sell worldwide.

I take my inspiration from my surroundings and the shapes I see in nature and everyday objects. Each of my designs start life as sketches and doodles of my environment. Each bespoke piece is hand-drawn onto a stretched canvas and then hand painted using a technique that I have created and perfected over many years. This creates the 3D textured surface that everyone loves.

They are then painstakingly gilded with either Gold, Silver, Copper or Black leaf.

This is a lengthy process with simply stunning results. Different lighting throughout the day can make the pieces take on a whole new life as the light catches the metallic surfaces.

Customers are able to choose the exact background colour that they require. I can use any paint colour, by any paint brand, so that the artwork perfectly coordinates with your interior space. I hand paint the canvas background in matt emulsion before applying the embellished design. This enhances the design and the circle still remains a bold feature. I love the beautiful contrast of the matt and gloss surfaces. The circles look fantastic on a grand scale but work equally as well as smaller scale sets. The possibilities are endless.
